    Community Outreach Youth/Teen Circles

    ABHC's P.E.E.R. Youth Programs (PYP) Emotional Support Circles to support families by engaging youth/teens in emotional wellness literacy and prevention and wellness programs. All P.E.E.R. Youth Programs are based on 4 Pillars: Prevention, Empowerment, Esteem, and Resilience.

     

    The pilot program, P.E.E.R. Emotional Support Circles, is scheduled to launch in Spring 2023. The PYP Staff are recruiting 9 -17-year-olds to participate in emotional support circles that introduce youth and teens to emotional wellness and coping and resilience practices. Registration cost is requested to cover materials. Register your youth/teen by clicking "REGISTER" next to the flyer below.

     

    The following prevention and wellness topics will likely surface during circle time: effective communication, conflict resolution, anxiety, depression, self-care, self-esteem, stress management, coping skills, boundary setting, healthy relationships, suicide prevention, and interpersonal violence prevention.
